Making and multiplying mature disciples

We exist to glorify God through the fulfillment of the Great Commission by making and multiplying mature disciples of Jesus Christ. A mature disciple is devoted to the authority of Christ's Word, the Scriptures, and is progressively growing in biblical belief and behavior. We apply a whole person approach to discipleship, addressing the head, the heart, and the hands of believers in pursuit of the total transformation of our lives. We are praying and looking for a core group of people who are convicted, committed, courageous, and contagious about our values.

Our Values:

Unapologetic Preaching- Proclaiming the authority of God's Word without apology.

Unashamed Adoration- Lifting high the name of Jesus Christ through worship.

Unceasing Prayer- Believing firmly in the power of prayer.

Unafraid Witness- Sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with boldness.

  • Sunday worship

We are currently meeting at The Shepherd's Church, 5305 Hwy 4, Baker, Florida 32531. The service begins at 9:30am sharp.

  • children's ministry

Church planting creates some challenges that established churches do not have. One of those challenges is limited facilities. Our temporary facilities do not allow us to have a well developed children's ministry during our service. During this time we have, by default, a family integrated service. Parents with small children are offered as much assistance as we are able to offer and are welcome to keep their children in the service. Our children's ministry will develop as the Lord grows our church and it is our goal to pursue excellence in this ministry that glorifies God.

  • Give

We believe that financial giving is a way God has called us to worship Him. Some churches tend to be shy in asking for donations to keep ministry going. We share the view of the Apostle Paul who wrote, "I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. ... Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that increases to your credit. ... and my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen." Philippians 1:3-5; 4:17, 19-20 ESV
